Popular Arts Entertainment was established in September of 1989 to produce reality and information programming for network, syndication, and cable television. It combines creative strengths in studio and field production, news and topical entertainment programming, promotion, management, and finance.

Over the last 13 years, PAE has steadily expanded its scope in various forms of television, including current reality, magazine, talk, game, variety, and various narrative formats such as television movies and cable sitcoms.
