I am an Emmy award-winning filmmaker, a director-writer-producer, with a nearly 20-year record of high-quality and award-winning film and television production, and corporate film. My experience extends to both sides of the camera, as well as to the corporate office.
Film and television credits include director, producer, writer, editor, assistant camera, story executive, and performer in narrative and documentary projects of various sizes. Executive experience includes Director of Creative Development, reader, and creative director positions at film/TV production entities, as well as marketing agencies and outfits.
Since 2010, I have served as an instructor at the Duke Center for Documentary Studies. I am also a screenwriting adjunct at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and I previously served as an Associate Professor of Screenwriting at Missouri State University.
Recognitions include a Mid-Atlantic Emmy, Silver Telly, and multiple prizes (including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Writer) at the 48 Hour Film Project.
I am a Master's graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts' screenwriting program.
I have been in the industry since 1997.
