Ashton Price
Ashton Price, hailing from Toronto Ontario, is an established, composer, producer, and engineer, with his production company, Morph Productions. In his ten years in the music industry, after graduating from Fanshawe College's acclaimed Music Industry Arts program, he has made a name for himself with his quality productions
Morph Productions caters to a variety of musicians including rock, pop hip hop and singer songwriters. It is a full service operation using many of Ashton's talents including being a session musician, beat creator, and songwriter on top of engineering and producing. Artist he has worked with landed him a publishing deal with Sony Canada. He has also done work for Sony/Epic U.S.A., Linus Entertainment/Universal, and Sextant/EMI.
Branching out into music licensing, half away around the world, his compositions can be heard in the successful Malaysian TV show "Ghost." He also co-wrote the theme song to the Speed Network's internationally aired "Sports Car Revolution." Several songs he also co-wrote have been licensed to the hit Canadian show, "Zoe Busiek: Wild Card" and international phenomenon "Degrassi: The Next Generation."
Video game music licensing is the next big thing and Ashton has already tapped into its potential with one of his songs being used in the game by BugBear, "Flatout-Ultimate Carnage. He was also the writer of music and sound effects for an online video game by Bodog/Fiver Media.
Ashton continues to write his own music, as well as write for and with other exciting artists covering the spectrum of rock, pop and hip-hop music.
