Jon M Green is an editor and filmmaker from Kansas City, MO. He has a BA in Film and Media Production from the University of Missouri Kansas City, and recently earned his MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University.

Jon started editing when he was 11 years old when he edited his first film using two VCR’s. After making that first film he has been following his passion for filmmaking. He has created and edited over 200 projects of various types from short films to commercial advertisements over the past seven years.

During his time at Full Sail University, Jon received several awards including a Course Director’s Award in Directing Talent. He edited a series of stop-motion LEGO films: one of which received the Best Picture Award at the ACME Film Festival in Longwood, FL. He worked on several thesis films as a First Assistant Director, and was chosen as the editor for his class thesis film ‘The Rift’.

Jon is passionate about creating new stories with extravagant worlds that will inspire a future generation of filmmakers to follow their dreams as those kinds of films did for him when he was young.

I have been in the industry since 2006.
