I have over 18 years of experience using Adobe After Effects, and over 5 years of experience with Adobe Premiere. I've been working in some form of video production or graphic design since 1990. I'm also somewhat familiar with 3D. I am also proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, Element 3D, the Red Giant suites, and several other programs and plugin packages. I have used Primatte and Keylight to composite green screen footage, and am familiar with Boris' tools as well. I also appreciate the need for quick turnaround times, as the typical turnaround for the 30 second commercials I currently work on is about 3 hours to one day.

Prior to becoming a freelance contractor in May of 2016, I worked for Reel Connection Media as the only in-house editor and motion graphics artist. The work varied from local market commercials of all types, to long-form documentary style videos for one of the largest hospital systems in Houston, Texas, to promotional videos for use on websites. Since becoming a contractor, I have continued working on these types of projects as a contractor to Reel Connection Media, as well as working on projects for other clients, including editing and DIT on location for a reality show.

Previously, I worked in a fast paced production environment mainly editing spots for the automotive industry for five years, and I freelanced for another company specializing in safety and marketing videos for about four years. I feel this experience has tempered my skills and allowed me to evolve into a capable and efficient editor and designer. I'm constantly challenging myself and being challenged in this environment.

I have been in the industry since 1992.
