About Me

I 'm a seasoned videographer/editor with a passion for video creation. I graduated from NYU's MFA program in film production, and since February 2015 have worked as a video producer and AV manager for a DC think tank, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. In this role I create videos for distribution online and at major events, and also run the AV systems and Livestream webcasts for policy conferences. Previously I worked for two years and seven months as videographer/editor at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. In that role I conceived, shot and edited videos of varying lengths to showcase the university’s activities. Before that I worked as an independent documentary filmmaker and videographer/editor. While at NYU I won the “Madrid Dares You” short film contest, which challenged NYU thesis students to make short films about the Spanish capitol. Previous to my film and video career I worked as a print journalist, which helped shape my writing and storytelling skills.

I have been in the industry since 2003.
