I'm Peter McCue, and I am the proud owner of Pearl ProVideo. Pearl ProVideo was first conceptualized in the 1990s, when back then it was only a side job for me. A big shift in wanting to pursue this as a full-time career came when I got involved with Public Access TV and saw how video can affect outcomes.
I went on to work for WFSB TV in Hartford, CT. in 1996 as a fill-in position, to part-time in 1997 to then a full-time Photographer/Editor in 1998. I have expertise in both studio and remote operations and am skilled in operating production switchers, live truck equipment, audio, and lighting as well as video.
While in the midst of working for Channel 3, Pearl ProVideo was being used as supplemental income for myself. Yet, the business wasn't my main focus.
In 2007 I became involved with Better CT with Scot Haney and Kara Sundlun, where I spent the first five years of the show as the only videographer and editor. I learned a great deal about multi-tasking and high production value, enabling me to come up with an understanding of how to make higher-end videos with limited resources.
In 2013 I left the news industry to bring Pearl ProVideo back into the spotlight. As my business model, I want to be known as the video and marketing support system for businesses
