A unique and versatile composer, Brady Hearn takes a modern approach to film music and sound design, combining his knowledge of the classical arts with a modern appreciation for dramatic soundscapes and sound design. Brady’s array of experience as a composer spans from scoring PBS documentaries to orchestrating the Sundance award winning film “Sleepwalk With Me”. Brady’s music has been used on Dateline NBC, Katie Couric, NY Med, Impractical Jokers, Say Yes To The Dress, OWN network, E! news, What Not To Wear, as well as over a dozen independent films. As a concert composer Brady has had works commissioned and performed by orchestras around the country and currently conducts and arranges for the Larceny Chamber Orchestra, which performs at LPR in Manhattan.
A graduate of Manhattan School of Music, Brady is the winner of the 2013 Camp Kuleshov Sound Design Award, a recipient of the Fran Morgenstern Davis Award presented to him by the ASCAP foundation, and was one of the featured composers in ASCAP’s Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop in both 2011 and 2013.
Current clients include NBC, ViacomCBS, MTV, VH1, Paramount Network, and Nickelodeon.
