As a Multi-Media Journalist/ Producer, I'm primarily responsible for producing breaking and trending news content across digital and social platforms. Content formats include daily 1:30- 2 minute news packages and features, social media posts, short videos, explainers, animated videos, raw videos, and live tv coverage of breaking news events. I am proficient in hard news and an excellent writer and researcher who can concisely explain breaking events while maintaining a consistent unbiased tone. As a producer, I research what people viral trends, primarily related to news, social issues, and current affairs. I pitch, produce and present content to drive conversations social media platforms. I also advise other editorial teams on scriptwriting and fact-checking. Also, I do voice-overs, production assisting, emceeing and using ad-lib for live special events, and editing and creating videos for different news outlets. I have experience with sourcing, verifying news, understanding what makes a compelling story, along with technical experience with filming and editing.
