With over 12 years of media experience, I have a well-rounded understanding of television production. As a Producer, I wrote broadcast news scripts, conducted interviews, field-reported, supervised edit sessions and acted as liaison with clients. Clients and interviewees alike often felt at ease under my approachable and friendly direction; allowing for viable soundbites and smoother project execution.

Although I am a people person, I recognize the importance of deadlines and bottom lines. Promoted from Production Coordinator to Production Manager, I was charged with the responsibility of managing projects, schedules and budgets. I assigned, coordinated and set up shoots as well as production facilities and feeds. Meanwhile, costs were tracked, invoices were approved and miscellaneous administrative tasks were handled. Being computer-savvy is certainly a plus when multitasking.

Each job required tenacity, organization and attention to detail. I am very thorough and have excellent follow-up skills. I'm also incredibly capable of "trimming the fat". In these roles, I was often called upon to proofread and edit.

Currently, I am a Freelance Writer; accredited with two self-published books as well as many e-articles and personal essays. However, I am eager to return to the fast-paced environment of television production.
