PC Technician/Networking/Data Management:
-Work independently; frequently with no support.
-Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and research skills.
-Virus removal and operating system repair or installation.
-Diagnose software and hardware problems for a wide array of products.
-Train clients, of varying skill levels, in the use of PCs, software, and peripherals.
-Setup and maintain equipment in both private and professional environments.
-Evaluate current systems and make recommendations regarding the re-design,
expansion, or upgrade of that equipment based on the needs of the client.
-Configure, troubleshoot, and install a variety of network equipment including:
Modems, routers, switches, hubs, expanders, and access points.
-Run network cable in any situation: Indoor, outdoor, in-wall, or underground.
-Terminate network connections, install jacks, wall panels, and drop boxes.
-Data backup, restoration, or recovery due to accidental deletion, the installation
of an OS, a non-functional computer, or a physically damaged hard drive.
-Advanced knowledge of all Windows consumer operating systems.
-Basic knowledge of DOS, Unix, Linux, and various Apple operating systems.
FORMAL EDUCATION
BA in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Computer
Information Systems.
