I have completed my 3D Animation certification at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts in Waltham, MA. I currently use Autodesk Maya, Photoshop,and After Effects every day. I have learned how to model, texture, rig and animate while also using programs like ZBrush, Headus, FCheck and Illustrator. Every day, I grow more confident in my abilities to use all of these programs to achieve the exact outcome
desired.

I have extensive experience with the Maya software. For instance, I was awarded first place for a project working with the Department of Homeland Security. It was a contest in which groups of 2 to 3 people could participate to create a brief video based on a Powerpoint presentation in order to provide a general description of a program called “First Responders”. I also led a project for the Museum of Science in which our group of 6 created a short promotional video for their exhibit "A Day in Pompeii". It combined live action with 3D
animation using Maya Live, Match Mover and After Effects. Last summer,I participated in a 6-week job in Long Island at a camp where I was teaching teenagers how to use Maya. Since then, I have been doing freelance work and I am continuing to experiment with the software.

My experience as a teacher is as vast as my knowledge of Maya. Excluding the Long Island position, I have worked as a counselor at summer camps for over a decade. In addition to this, I lived in Chile for a year teaching English as a foreign language to people in their places of work and home. I have been put in the role of instructor, leader, and counselor many times throughout my life.
