Everyone has a story and there is heart in the complexity of someone’s past, present, and future. The beauty of film is not just in the screenplay, but in how different storytellers come together, divide up their roles, and gives an audience a new perspective of life. Creative producer Jay Russell focuses on creating thought provoking, heartfelt, and insightful stories for a diverse audience. His love for editing led him to pursue a degree in Mass Communications. Teaching students how to focus on their emotional intentions for video production assignments led him to pursue a long-forgotten dream into film. Russell is diving into the film industry while at UNC-School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with a graduate degree in Creative Producing. He will graduate May, 2019.
