Born and raised in Newark, NJ in a single-parent home. He is the eldest of six children. From an early age it was evident that his curiosity would inspire a creative wave. When the opportunity arose to perform at his elementary school talent show, it was no surprise that Franc jumped at the opportunity to perform in that show. After nurturing his new found talents for the performing arts, we went on to make his first professional appearance in the Mecca of fashion entertainment in New York as a print and runway model for Tommy Hilfiger and other well-known designers. Franc undoubtedly showcased his ability to enchant an audience and draw them in. His passions were not solely limited to entertainment; Franc has a passion for philanthropy. His first philanthropic endeavor was to organize a community concert that aimed to unite rival neighborhood gangs. This event brought unity and peace for the first time in North Newark’s tumultuous history.
Franc sought to explore other creative mediums that he could utilize to cultivate his growing talent. Franc found an outlet in writing and recording music. His zeal for creative expression not only earned him popularity but also recognition and accolades as a true voice of the community, and a voice for those that have been silenced. Franc’s music career was only one of many platforms he used to express himself creatively. His accomplishments include receiving a recording contract at the tender age of 15 with Tommy Boy, having over 1.7 million music plays online to date, and he had the honor of headlining in the New York City Puerto Rican Day Parade in front of approximately two million spectators. Franc has the ability to transition, and through his experience he continues to grow and enhance his talents.
Franc recognizes that his triumph in front of the camera was strongly based on his capability to produce and direct. His performance in the University of Central Florida arena was the first performance by a local artist at a venue of that size, once again proving that Franc can break through the barriers and lead the way. Aside from his role as an entertainer for that event, he also played a key role as an executive producer of the event. In his responsibility as an executive producer he was able to apply his knowledge and experience in organizing events to execute a successful project. Franc is an innovator and continues to use his passions to cultivate a phenomenal talent. Thus Franc turned his focus to expressing his art behind the camera lens. Franc has produced significantly profound and influential images of life as he perceives it. His compelling art continues to gain interest from art collectors around the world
Today Franc has combined the elements of entertainment, event coordinating, production, and art into a formidable and fundamental media company that has participated in covering events, such as youth sports, and major events like “Cars & Café,” and one of the largest motorsports events in the world, the 12 hour Le Mans. There is no disinclination that Franc’s continuous transformation has turned him into a virtuoso individual. Franc is currently in the process of creating a photography art book, a conceptual design to an all tertian active sports apparel line, and he continues to be the voice of the voiceless through a plurality of charity work. Franc Zalez has undoubtedly embodied the idea of the “power of intention,” the will to create the best experience with a simple life.
