Alex is a director of photography from Virginia. His career began shooting music videos where connections to the independent music scene led to opportunities to work with artists he admired. He's since been able to work with artists on major labels like Illiterate Light and Devon Gilfillian.

Ultimately, his heart lies in narrative fiction where he’s drawn toward human stories and excels in capturing intimate, cinematic moments with an eye for natural beauty. Some highlights include REPEATER (2015) directed by Wade Vanover and starring David Strathairn, WELCOME TO THE SHOW (2019) directed by Dorie Barton, PERSON FIRST (2021) directed by Patrick Fitzgerald, and 500 FIREFLIES (2021) directed by Lysandra Petersson.
