With a BFA from SVA in film in NY, and professional experience in filmmaking as a writer, director, pa, producer, script supervisor, and actor, I have worked on shorts/features/and documentaries. I am looking to PA in film/tv, by helping others carry out their vision. I am flexible, hard working, and dedicated one hundered percent to move very fast and finish projects according to necessary deadlines.
My most recent employment was abroad in Berlin, Germany, where I reached German language proficiency, at a company called Stollwerck GmbH. There as a production assistant; I worked in a fast paced environment, responsible for the high end quality of their product, and maintained various machines to ensure perfect operations.
Before that I was a Account Executive for a Audio Visual rental company in NY.
Tasks included client relations as the front man of the company, for large scale and very high-end events in multiple locations, including film festivals, graduations, film and TV productions, fashion shows, charity events, and corporate events. I was involved in the fundamental infrastructure of AV business operations, management, and ownership. I assisted the Director of Sales, and managed my own clients. Responsibilities included; quotes, orders, following through with payments, managing the preparation of the orders, and the follow thru to ensure that each client was satisfied, and knowledge of all facets of AV equipment; audio, video, lighting, cameras, staging, and rigging, and managing a crew of technicians and stagehands.
I was also a AV technician, involved as the go to guy for the New York Times, Ernst and Young, and the NY Film festival, and many other clients. Involved with building cables, testing equipment, and large- scale installations, and long term rentals throughout NY. I also managed operations; hiring, deliveries, inventory, preparation of orders, and ordering expendables.
I have been in the industry since 2000.
