I am a confident, enthusiastic, passionate, driven and detail-oriented professional seeking my next opportunity in the global events sector. Having recently completed my tenure with the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, I am now ready to move onto my next venture and am hoping to continue working in global events. My event experience has been focused on transportation, volunteer management and retail operations; however I am open to exploring different functional areas for the right opportunity. I am confident that my skills and experience, complimented by my life-long passion for sport and major events organisation, will be a perfect match for the right organisation.

Highlights of my background that may be of interest to you include:

• Excellent administration and project management skills working as a Deputy Bus System Manager in Athlete Transport at the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games. In this role I was responsible for planning and implementing an efficient and effective bus transportation system for 17,500 Olympic Athletes & Team Officials and 5,500 Paralympic Athletes and Team Officials. This position required me to interact directly with several different functional areas - Venue Transport, Sport, Logistics, Security, Athlete Village Management and Procurement, giving me valuable insight into multiple facets of the organising committee.

• Ample experience in volunteer and staff management. I have managed volunteer programs with as few as 10 volunteers to a program for 6,000 + volunteers at Super Bowl XLIII. Additionally I have been responsible for the hiring, training and management of both full-time and event only staff. I always enjoy working with volunteers, paid staff, interns and contractors. It is my aim to be a great manager as I realise how important the people on the ground are in any successful event.

• 7 years of experience in the sports industry and directed involvement with over a dozen major sporting events including: Summer & Winter Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games, United States Tennis Open, NFL Super Bowls, and several collegiate sporting events including the collegiate national championships for football, basketball and baseball.

I am confident in my ability to meet and exceed the expectations of any company or organising committee and am excited about exploring new opportunities in 2013.
