Hello,
I am seeking a position that would allow me the opportunity to utilize my experience in media production. I have a degree in Communications from Felician University, along with nine years working in some of the nations top broadcast media stations where I’ve worn a number of different hats. From public relations to supervising, training, and mentoring large production teams I’ve worked in great environments where my contributions and efforts were appreciated.
Previously, I was a Video Coordinator for the morning news at Telemundo where I edited video content for current news stories in the daily rundown. I also served as a Production Coordinator at Livestream (now Vimeo) where my job extended from creating quotes for clients that would like to use our production services to switching gears and joining the team every step of the way to execute these productions. At CNN Latino we were a small start-up company where everyone had to pitch in, and I thrived on the excitement of being involved at every level of every project. “De todo un poco”, which means a little bit of everything was the nickname I earned because I offered the combined value of supervisor and problem solver all in one hardworking package.
With Univision I had the advantage of working at one of the nations top television stations before I was even out of college. I was able to grow whilst expanding my knowledge on journalism. Although, I worked in public relations I was able to learn about the different departments in a television station and how they run.
While writing and film are my passions, being apart of projects and making sure all parts get to the finish line at the same time is one thing I do best. I pride myself in ensuring efficient production of all materials and projects on a daily basis. I am dedicated, conscientious, and a great team player.
