About Me

I have worked as a camera operator and editor since graudating from Ashland University in 1996. I am experienced with various HD cameras and have been editing with the Adobe Production Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) for the last five years. Currently I am one of two people working in the audio/visual department of the company I work for. Conventions occupy a lot of our time, including making videos to be shown at the conventions, advertising for our conventions as well as recording and editing what takes place at the conventions. Camera operator and editor are my main areas of interest, but I am well rounded in all aspects of video production and live events.
Run the Race
Added on 2/14/2013
This video was used during our main student convention and is actually two videos used back to back to introduce the theme for the week. The first part is titled "Run The Race" and was intended to get the students hearts and minds focused on living their lives for Christ. I was highly involved in all the lighting/camera work. During the running shots I was driving the van that my co-worker was shooting out the back or side of. The second part was aimed to get the students excited about the events they would see/be involved in during the week yet reinforce the theme and get them excited for the openening rally they were about to enjoy. I did all the editing using Premiere Pro and After Effects. Some of the effects would have been easier if we had shot the clips in front of a green screen, but the footage that we had to use was shot from the competitions from the year before in their live environments. Not only did that make it more challenging, but made the end result more rewarding as well.
