caribBEING is a boutique non-profit organization whose mission is to build community through the lens of Caribbean cinema, culture and art. Our programming reflects the diversity and artistic contributions of the Caribbean including Afro-Caribbean Basin countries such as Cuba, Panama and Colombia and Diaspora communities such as Brooklyn’s Flatbush, Toronto’s Brampton and London’s Notting Hill. Based in Fl@tbush, Brooklyn and founded in 1999, cariBBeing is the brainchild of Caribbean-American (Trinidadian) Shelley Vidia Worrell.
