Matthew James Murphy is a Cleveland based composer who has seen success in the film industry over the past few years. As an actor on Broadway in the show Rent, Murphy shifted his focus to his passion of song writing. Murphy has landed his songs on Abc, Mtv and most recently composed the graduation song, "Hold Your Dream" for the MGM remake of the film "Fame". Murphy has teamed up with his best friend, Joe Parker (Berklee graduate in film composition) to create the company Churchill Score and sound. Churchill has been primarily scoring indie documentary films and is looking to score really great indie films that are going to be shopped to major festivals.
