As a journalism new media student I volunteered to become the editor for the courses live at 5 news cast. Every Thursday I convened with the writer and producer of the program at 8:30, so that we could choose the direction the lineup would take, and more specifically what kind of footage was needed for the stories. I would then decide upon the order of clips, and cut for length when necessary. After that work was finished, I would upload the stories onto the playback server, and then fill that position in the newsroom once the broadcast went to air.

In addition to my news room experience, I was tasked with filming and editing a multitude of assignments, which culminated into my largest project, a 5 minute documentary.
