I am an NYC resident actively searching for new opportunities in film and advertising production. I recently completed working with Simba Productions where my responsibilities included production planning, production photography, location scouting, budgeting and sourcing funding for a feature length film project. I hope to utilize this experience and the other skills I have acquired in my next role to continue learning and collaborating with a team in a highly creative environment. I am also passionate about independent documentary and filmmaking and am currently in pre production for a series of mico-documentaries capturing a variety of compelling stories about NYC's unique residents through an observer's lens.
I am a Media Production graduate of Buffalo State College, the only SUNY School in alignment with the Accrediting Council for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.
In addition to graduating with honors, I received the “Most Outstanding Student in Media Production” award for my 3.6 GPA and the projects that I lead. I worked on the show “What not to Wear” as a P.A. and an Executive Assistant during my internship with the BBC. I also worked as a P.A. on the independent feature film “Henry’s Crime” starring Keanu Reeves. During my time at school I produced, wrote, and directed two short films. I was responsible for all aspects of production including scheduling several people for time sensitive deadlines, as well as securing and allocating finances.
I am a filmmaker at heart and working with a team, sharing ideas, and figuring out new strategies and solutions are the parts of the job that I love the most. I am interested in connecting for networking or employment opportunities regarding film production, advertising production and documentary development within freelance or full time roles.
Opportunities I am interested in include: Associare Producer, Associate Director, Editorial Assistant, Photographer Assistant, Broadcast Producer.
