My name is Brian Travis Creason. I am an editor, cinematographer and writer; but most importantly, I am a passionate and dedicated filmmaker. I have an experienced eye to distinguish between shots that will work, and shots that fall behind. And I also have passion – passion for telling stories, and working on something until it tells the story completely. I am adaptable to many different work environments, and I do not give up easily.
It is my job to mold the events of our lives into captivating, cohesive and engaging stories. My passion for editing runs so deep that I think of it as an art more than a job – it sometimes even consumes my life! After shooting over 150 hours of footage about sea turtle conservation at Jekyll Island in Georgia, I couldn’t wait to get home and start working through it all. I had a week to cut a rough together. I worked for sixteen-hours-a-day. I slept on the couch while the computer was rendering. I lived off beef jerky and orange soda. I met my tight deadline, and even won third place at the “Gray Reef Ocean Film Festival” funded by National Geographic.
I thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I would love to be able to schedule an in-person meeting.
Thank you,
Brian Travis Creason
