Malcolm Douglas Brown is a photographer, filmmaker and film editor from Brooklyn, New York. For years, he and his creative team have had the pleasure of telling stories with both still and motion pictures. While interning under Major Television Networks: MTV Networks, as well as Discovery Communications, Malcolm was able to work in various departments: Ad Sales, Original Programming as well Brand Creative. It was upon graduation from college that Malcolm had a clear focus to what department was for him. Even though he was astute and was able to amass success in all departments, it was the Creative department that Malcolm felt his talents were best exercised. This led to his venturing off into the Film and Photography freelance field all awhile interning further with Reels of Thumb Editing Solutions, as well as Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times photographer: Ozier Muhammad. These internships allowed Malcolm to fully own both his video editing/visual storytelling abilities. Now with a diverse and extensive library of content, Malcolm has started his own business: MDB Productions, which continues to surpass the needs and desires of their clientele in addition to maintaining an active presence within the artistic community.
