DaShawn Fleming is a native of the gorgeous Prince Georges County Maryland where she currently resides. She is a recent graduate of the illustrious North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, NC. DaShawn obtained her degree, with the highest honors, in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Electronic Media and Journalism.

During her tenure, DaShawn tutored and mentored elementary and high school students in Greensboro and held several executive board positions for organizations on campus. She also honed her journalistic abilities as a reporter for the A & T Register, the weekly university newspaper. Additionally DaShawn devoted much of her time with the T.V. Studio as a reporter, videographer, and editor with on-campus shows including the Aggie Insider and Aggie Weekly.

DaShawn’s professional experiences range from a social media based internship at CNN to a news internship with BET.

DaShawn is a firm believer that faith without work is dead and is actively seeking employment in the journalism field.
