Composer living in Olney, Maryland and Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Many influences are found in my work including jazz, tango, blues, samba, fusion, ragtime, contemporary classical, and back to American roots music. A quirky humor is found in much of my music along with a romantic lyrical side. Listed in International Who's Who in Music.
A selection of my music is available for placement in film, TV, video, and other media. Importantly, all of my recordings were made by live musicians playing my written music. Fanfare

Fanfare was inspired by Brazilian brass bands. As I envision this music, it has an exuberant spirit with samba rhythms churning under contemporary harmonic voicings. It is intended to be a short piece. However, the vamp at the end can be extended for a solo or collective improvisation. While Fanfare draws upon Brazilian music, it is in my own style.
