Hello,

My name is Brett Wright and I specialize in video editing/post production.

I would make an excellent addition to your company. I’ve been working in the high-pressure television industry since 2010. I interned for Conan O’Brien’s talk show in California and I’ve worked at WTVT Fox 13 in Tampa since 2011.

I am proficient with several video-editing platforms including AVID, Final Cut and Adobe Premiere. I also have experience with Photoshop, After Effects and Flash.

Currently, I’m employed at WTVT Fox 13 News in Tampa, Florida, the 14th largest media market in the United States. I work as a video editor for the Good Day Tampa Bay program as well as the noon edition of the news, the highest rated news programs in the Tampa Bay area. My daily duties include editing together video and sound bites of the day’s events for broadcast. I work in conjunction with the station’s producers to present a clear image of the important stories from our area and around the world. In addition, I also construct longer-form video packages as part of my duties. I’ve created packages for Dr. Joette Giovinco’s health segment, Denise White’s Black History Month profiles and the What’s Right With Tampa Bay franchise among many others.

In the past I’ve worked as part of the staff for nationally televised programs like Conan on TBS and the 2011 NCAA men’s college basketball tournament.

My experiences in the high-pressure world of television taught me how to think on my feet and adapt to any obstacles that may arise.
