I started making films when I was a young and strange pre-teen. My sister and I would take turns videotaping each other acting out these absurd scenarios around our house and I would edit the clips together on Windows Movie Maker. These humble "films" set the groundwork for what would become one of my greatest creative passions. As time went on, I enlisted the help of various friends and these small productions slowly grew. I gained access to better cameras, better editing software, and I began figuring out what worked and what didn't. As I neared the end of high school, there became a societal need to decide "what I wanted to do with my life" and I wasn't entirely sure. It wasn't until I watched a 'making-of' documentary for Kevin Smith's Clerks that I thought of film as a serious career path. I ended up attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film. Throughout my time in college, I made many films and many mistakes and I hope to continue to do that for the rest of my life.
I have been in the industry since 2009.
