Call me Liz Lemon with a dash of Olivia Pope. As a production crew member, if there's a job that needs to be done, I'm the person to organize it or jump in and do the work myself. Having worked in administration, healthcare, and customer service for the past 10 years, I've never been afraid to get my hands dirty, have worked with executives and upper level staff, and have no problem working alone or on large crews. My production experience from the University of Colorado involved a rapid promotion to Producer from staff writer/script supervisor on the web series, The Lucky Breaks. During this production, I was able to find two difficult, last minute filming locations and was able to re-write a scene, on set, eliminating the need for an entire superfluous shooting day. I have a valid driver's license, large staff scheduling and payroll processing experience, and am competent with both film and administrative programs including: MS Office, Kronos, PeopleSoft, Google Docs, FCP 7 and X, Adobe Premiere CS6, Adobe Encoder, Adobe Photoshop, and Toast. I have intermediate Mac and advanced PC competence, including technical/mechanical troubleshooting skills for both. My attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical thinking are meticulous; a trait I feel is necessary to achieve maximum efficiency in an industry where time is literally money.
As a crew member, I would be utilizing my film production skills and my extensive customer service and receptionist experience to support the company with any needs that arise. Be it personal errands, help on a set or in the office, I make sure the job is done quickly and done right. I’m a diligent self-starter, highly motivated, and can multi-task on the fly. Just give me instructions, point, and I am on my way with the guarantee that the task will be completed as assigned and on time. I have been providing administrative support for over a decade and relish the opportunity to assist with production at a company that aims to become a leader in the entertainment industry through content driven, high quality production.
