I'm a filmmaker with several narrative shorts under my belt. Over the last few years I've been building up my Directing reel as I work toward shooting my first feature film. For the past 15 years I've been working in live television production the last 12 years as News Technical Director at CBS 2 Chicago. In 2014 I was awarded an Emmy from the NATAS Chicago/Midwest chapter for Outstanding Achievement for News Programming and in 2007 for technical achievement for the broadcasting of the 2006 LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon.

I was born and raised in Chicago to parents of Ecuadorian decent. In 1997 I received a BFA in Photo/Film and Electronic media from UIC. In 2008 I earned my MFA in Film and Video from Columbia College Chicago. My thesis film RISING UP was nominated for a 2009 Imagen Award for Best Theatrical Short.

I have been in the industry since 2000.
