AJ Wilhelm is a New York City based freelance photographer and filmmaker whose work has been published by National Geographic, Smithsonian, New York Magazine, GQ, The FADER, Punk Magazine, NPR, Washington Post, SAVEUR, and many others. Born and raised in the midwest, AJ is a graduate of the University of Michigan and was recently nominated for an Emmy for his work on a New York Times piece about modern musical collaboration.
