Michael has worked as a sound designer/mixer on independent short films, a production sound mixer on independent films and documentaries, a sound effects editor on documentaries like "From the Ashes" and "AlphaGo," and a composer. In 2016, his short film Devil’s Track, which he wrote, directed, and sound designed, won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design at the BC Film Festival in Brooklyn.
