Troy W. Hudson is a professional voice over artist and character voice actor celebrating 40 years in the multimedia production field in 2024!
He served 6 years in the US Army as a radio/tv broadcast journalist winning multiple national awards for military broadcasting and media production while proudly serving his country.
From 1990 - 2000 he worked in the corporate video world for a large Southeastern US based utility company as a writer/producer/director, video editor, media designer, cameraman and voice talent.
From 2000 - 2012 he worked in a commercial post production house as an editor and graphic designer where he edited over 600 tv ads and also worked as a part time voice talent.
In 2012 he began following his passion of building his own voice over production business which is today “Troy W. Hudson, Professional Voice Overs, LLC”. His business is focused on delivering the ultimate in high quality productions with compassionate and unrivaled customer service and the highest business integrity, while delivering each “Voice Over with Personality”!
He has produced thousands of hours of audio content for clients all over the world, daily delivering commercials, narrations, explainer videos, character voices, children’s stories, phone messaging, audiobooks and the occasional video all from his home studio in northeastern Georgia.
A large part of his business is eLearning and he regularly works on projects with return clients having relationships that date back nearly a decade because of his ability to communicate technical content in a conversational way, his speed and dependability.
He is the voice of over 500 videos for the TopThink YouTube channel as well as the voice for the Alexa skill for Volley's "Word of the Day" since 2018. He was a prominently featured English voice actor for the 2020 ABC French documentary "Notre-Dame: Our Lady of Paris”. He was the national spot and tag announcer for Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy tour in 2019.
He is the former video host of his own weekly LIVE show “Voice Over Weekly Stew” on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn where he talked about the VO business. He just wrapped hosting the LIVE video game show “Word of the Day Quiz” on backchannel.tv three times a week.
He mentors other VO artists and he volunteers with Learning Ally on a regular basis producing children’s audiobooks to assist kids with learning challenges.
