Wind-up Pictures LLC is a full-service media production company. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, we make promotional, educational, fiction, and documentary films.

Wind-up Productions LLC was founded by cinematographer Karen Rodriguez, who served from 2013 to 2018 as one of the primary filmmakers for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the world’s leading center for research on birds and their habitats. She is the Director of Photography for the award-winning noir web series Chanticleer. Karen is a Fulbright Scholar (2017) and former delegate to the American Documentary Showcase (Poland, 2010), and she holds an MFA in Film and Video Production from the University of Iowa Graduate College.

We have been in the industry since 1991.
