Film / Television Crew Position descriptions
Director of Photography:
Highly experienced cameraman and camerawoman that works closely with the director and manages the camera & lighting crews.

Camera Operator:
1st AC and 2nd AC. Trained operators proficient with all camera systems. Works under the DoP.

Gaffer
The Gaffer is the Head lighting technician. Gaffer manages best boy electric, company electrics, generator operator, etc.

Key Grip:
The Key Grip is head of the grip department. Key Grip manages best boy grip, company grips, dolly grip, etc.

Grip & Electric:
Setup and maintain lights, stands, and all other grip & electric equipment.

Audio Technicians:
The soundman is a highly skilled sound engineer and works with Boom Operator to manage multiple audio sources through a professional mixer to give you the best sound quality possible.

D.I.T. / Data Wrangler:
D.I.T and Datta Wrangler are crucial technicians that download, organize, backup and prepare all your media for post-production.

Set Photographer:
The Set Photographer captures the behind the scenes of your production in still images for documentation, promotion, and marketing.

Teleprompter Operator:
The Teleprompter operator sets up and operates the teleprompter so that text shows at the proper size and speed to allow talent to deliver their message.

Hair & Makeup Artists:
Hair & Makeup artists are skilled professionals capable of preparing your talent with a variety of looks, styles, and effects.

Production Assistant:
Production Assistants are capable of carrying out any task needed by production. Our Production Assistants kick-ass, BTW!

Drone Operator:
The Drone Operator flys drone to capture aerial footage using all makes and models of UAV camera drones.

Production Coordinator:
The Production Coordinator keeps your film and television production on schedule, on budget, and on track so that you can execute your vision without issue.

Location Scout:
The Location Scout is Capable of providing and securing locations within your specification and budget.

International Fixer:
A film fixer arranges interviews, location permits, transport, hotels and performs location scouting. Film fixers can also be referred to as “Local Fixers” who are responsible for arranging everything required for effective filming from accommodation to permits, food and more.
