I am a professional producer, director, DP, and video editor specializing in original content creation. With over 15 years of experience in video post-production, I have extensive knowledge in visual storytelling, the workflow of broadcast television and advertising, independent filmmaking and web-based content.
I was the lead visual storyteller at a prominent Connecticut agency. As the primary director, cameraman and editor on all of our projects, I pitched story ideas and developed concepts alongside creative directors, illustrators and copywriters. Our work varied from high-end TV productions to concise production teams. I have a knack for being nimble, working quick and often alone, without sacrificing quality. But, I know when to ask for help, as I negotiate vendor and talent contracts across a broad spectrum of projects. I’m adept at working in studios as well as out on location, and I’m technically proficient in any environment.
As a video producer, I’m quite familiar with tight deadlines and priority shifts between projects based on evolving needs. On a daily basis, I’ve worked with clients including: Hartford HealthCare, Webster Bank, Travelers, Central Connecticut State University, and the Connecticut Office of Tourism. Past clients include ESPN and the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun, and I continue project work for Hop Culture Farms and Brewing Co., SmartTrak, and the Ranch Golf Club.
As a video editor and motion graphics artist, I’m proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Avid Media Composer. As a cameraman, I have years of experience shooting with digital cinema cameras (RED, Black Magic and Phantom Flex 4K) as well as Canon DSLRs. My additional post-production experience is vast and includes but is not limited to encoding and compression, closed captioning and subtitling, mastering and digital distribution.
I have been in the industry since 2013.
