Hi! My name is Asuquo, I am a videographer, photographer and video editor based out of Washington, DC - with proficiency in the latest versions of Final Cut Pro and Davinci Resolve 18, Lightroom and Photoshop. I shoot on a DJI Ronin 4D 6K, Nikon Z 8 and Lumix S5IIX but have experience with many other cameras as well.

I have 12+ years of experience as a professional photographer, videographer, and editor - creating content for businesses and start-ups, social media, YouTube, music videos, you name it! I've also worked as a cinematographer for independent documentaries. I very much enjoy the vast variety and potential that this industry entails, and I am deeply passionate about creating high-quality, attention-grabbing content.

Here's how a typical job plays out:

- I work with you to outline the video you want. We discuss your initial thoughts, look at some other videos for example, discuss what kind of gear or personnel (if any) will be needed to achieve this, and then set a deadline.

- Usually, I will create a storyboard or shot list to assist with shooting or editing. We'll both look at this and make additions/cuts/rearrangements as needed.

- First draft. I send a rough edit over, with the cut being the focus. Once the assembly is agreed upon, I move on to...

- Color grading, effects, titles, and sound. These are the final cherry on top of the edit. I work with detail to ensure the video is beautiful.

- Then I create as many different exports as you need (for whatever different platforms they're going on) as well as a non-compressed version for an archive.
