Barn Door Lighting Outfitters was founded in 1995 by Kerry Lombard, an experienced Connecticut gaffer. Right from the beginning, our primary goal was, and continues to be, making it easier for production professionals to rent and purchase lighting, grip, electrical equipment and supplies from a single, specialized, knowledgeable and service-oriented resource. To deliver on our commitment, we launched our popular web store: http://www.filmandvideolighting.com, our rental site: https://www.barndoorlighting.com/ and opened our rental / retail store at our current location.

Barn Door Lighting Outfitters is Connecticut's only full-service lighting / grip / camera support provider for film, video, photo and stage production--rentals, sales & services.

Based in North Branford, CT, we offer a large, well-maintained lighting, grip, stage and photo equipment rental inventory, as well as experienced crew network for production support in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York City. We are conveniently located off I95 exit 55 or 56.

Our rental facility / retail store, located at 232 Branford Road, North Branford, CT, offers a complete stock of expendables, including: Bulbs, tape, gels, hardware, clamps, parts, electrical supplies, backgrounds, plus grip and lighting equipment.
