Greetings everyone! I'm Hunter Gutherie, a passionate individual with a love for the world of filmmaking and photography, currently calling Nashville home. Here's a little glimpse into who I am:
Film Enthusiast: As a film graduate from the University Of The Nations Film School, I've honed my skills as a Second Assistant Camera, Grip, and Camera Operator. From the hustle of TV series production to the creativity of music videos, I thrive in the dynamic and collaborative world of film.
Photography Collaborator: I've had the privilege of working alongside the talented Kaylea Sites at krmoreno photo, contributing as a Camera Assistant from 2021 to 2023. Collaborating on various photography projects has allowed me to blend technical proficiency with a keen eye for detail.
Technical Savvy: Proficient in operating camera equipment, managing slates, setting up grip equipment, and creating the perfect lighting atmosphere. I believe in the power of teamwork, consistently collaborating effectively with the camera team, gaffer, and fellow crew members.
Recent Ventures: My recent journey led me to Red Ridge Entertainment, where I operated cameras for two music videos in late 2023 and early 2024. The experience showcased my commitment to capturing high-quality footage and bringing artistic visions to life.
Verizon Commercial/Music Video feat. Maren Morris: Exciting news! I've recently had the opportunity to contribute my skills to a Verizon commercial/music video featuring the incredible Maren Morris. It was an honor to be part of a project that merges technology and music in such a captivating way.
Assistant Extraordinaire: In 2022-2023, I had the pleasure of working as an assistant at Gavin Smith Productions, supporting various aspects of production. Being part of a team that ensures the smooth operation of a production is an experience I truly value.
Nashville Resident: Proudly calling Nashville my home, I'm excited about the vibrant creative scene and the storytelling opportunities that abound in this city.
Education: I hold a certificate in Film School and Internship Completion from the University Of The Nations Film School (2022). This educational journey has not only equipped me with technical know-how but has also fueled my passion for storytelling through visual mediums.
