I'm a visual storyteller with over a decade of experience producing, filming, photographing, and editing content to inform the public, promote brands, and entertain audiences.
I began my career working in journalism at The New York Times and The Boston Globe where I covered visual stories about community issues, tech, health, and government.
I later worked as a video director at the world’s largest communication consultancy, Edelman, where I managed video teams and built out the in-house production capabilities of the agency’s D.C. office.
I have consulted for organizations such as the Obama White House Photo Office, UPS Foundation, Boston Medical Center, St. Jude, eBay, Hilton, Johnson & Johnson, and Amazon.
I'm classically trained as a photojournalist from Ohio University’s schools of Journalism and Visual Communication where I earned my degree. I also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and speak French. I am now based out of Washington, D.C., and available for assignment.
Outside of work, I have a deep passion for youth development, backcountry hiking, and making short films with his friends.
I have been in the industry since 2008.

Mylan was AMAZING to work with! Outright hired him to lead one of our biggest video shoots out of state with a rigorous shot list across numerous locations.
